Piaget's Thoughts

"The principle goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done."   Jean Piaget

  1. This is a great qoute. It reminds me of a qoute I read, I do not remember who wrote it, "Adults are always asking kids what they want to be when they grow up because they are looking for ideas".

  2. Cassie, what a great quote. I guess what I like about Piaget's words (although I just like Piaget) is that he believed in encouraging children to do new things, without being afraid of making a mistake!

  3. What a great quote! Education has changed drastically over the years and we need to encourage children to think out of the box and to view things with new perspectives.
